I love the combination of bananas, maple syrup, and walnuts. So, you'll probably see it in my recipes here and there. This is also a good way to use any overripe bananas you may have lying around the house. In fact, the more ripened the banana, the sweeter the flavor you'll get in the yogurt without more added sugars.
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/4 cup mashed ripe banana
1 1/2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
dash vanilla extract
Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, mixing with a spoon until blended.
Yield: 1 serving
Serving Size: about 3/4 cup
