If you're looking to decrease the added sugar in your yogurt and save some money, making your own blended yogurt is the way to go. This one incorporates my Simple Blueberry Sauce. For a similar nutritional content, you could also try with with my Spiced Cranberry Pear Sauce and pecans instead of almonds.
1/2 cup plain, fat-free Greek yogurt
1/4 cup Simple Blueberry Sauce
2 tablespoons slivered almonds
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, mixing with a spoon until blended.
Yield: 1 serving
Serving Size: about 3/4 cup
